Yesterday, Nike Basketball officially unveiled OKC Thunder Kevin Durant’s 7th signature silhouette the KD7. Although a few weeks ago there was speculation that the first colorway release would be “Team USA” themed, the new model will be making its debut in a vibrant rendition deemed the “35’000 Degrees”.

The “35’000 Degrees” colorway is inspired by the 2014 NBA MVP’s speedy style of play and features a predominately bright mango upper with deep-grey accents on the midsoles, collar, and (family branded) signature strap. The shoe also features bright neon outsole’s that represents lightning. In the video after the jump, Nike designer Leo Chang gives some insight on the design process behind the new silhouette.

The Nike KD7 “35’000 Degrees” colorway will be available July 12th over at the Nike Basketball online shop and all nike retailers worldwide. Check out detailed images below and after the jump.
