Today, Hulu has announced that drama series The Path has been renewed for a second season. The show, which follows a cult-like religious movement, aired for the first time on March 30th with the first season ending May 25th after 10 episodes. Clearly, the show created by Jessica Goldberg (Parenthood producer) has performed well enough with critics and viewers to be given the green light for more episodes.
Aaron Paul and Michelle Monaghan star in the show in their first major on-screen television roles since the excellent Breaking Bad and True Detective. Co-stars include Emma Greenwell, Rockmond Dunbar, Sarah Jones and Hugh Dancy.
Season two is set to premiere in 2017.
