If acquiring Millarworld Comics earlier this month wasn’t enough, Amazon is planning to revamp its original programming lineup. This week, they announced a major deal with The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and Skybound Entertainment (also behind Fear the Walking Dead), to develop future TV series and movies for Prime Video. Along with TWD, Kirkman has had success with his popular Cinemax drama series, Outcast, which is gearing up to begin production for its third season. The digital video studio is aggressively looking to revamp their programming line-up (long live Betas), especially now with Apple TV gearing up to pilot their own exclusive service next year.
