With heavy cell phone usage rising each year, Verizon is soon to give customers a gift by upgrading their mobile data speed to XLTE. Verizon has been constantly spreading their 4G speeds throughout certain areas so it will be local to all, but at the present time XLTE will only be available in a few regions. Some of you may get double the boost in bandwidth and higher peak speeds as well, but if you live in one of the test areas, you might have noticed a mobile data speed boost already.
