Later this year, former Game of Thrones actor Jason Momoa will finally assume his next major role, when he joins Dark Knight, Superman and Wonder Woman for the Justice League. However, Warner Bros. is already planning a solo spin-off from the film and its coming sooner than you think.
With James Cameron delaying Avatar 2 indefinitely last week, DC Comics has confirmed that their Aquaman film will fill the slot that was previously helmed by the sequel to the biggest film of all time. The film has been moved from its original release date of October 5 to December 21, 2018. Surprisingly, the Arthur Curry effort could be the most-anticipated box office blockbuster hitting theaters for next year’s holiday – as far as action films.
