Warner Bros. Pictures Changes Release Date for ‘Wonder Woman 2’

Coming November 2019

Over the summer, Warner Bros. confirmed that Wonder Woman 2 would be releasing December 13, 2019. Many began to realize that the time-frame was already held by Disney’s Star Wars: Episode IX.

However, after having to properly think out their strategy, DC Comics has now given the Gal Gadot-starred film a new date. The sequel to the Justice League member’s 2017 stand-out, will now be hitting theaters on November 1, 2019 – an entire month before the Lucasfilm project.

It also beats out the upcoming untitled 25th James Bond movie by a week, so Warner is looking to strike gold again with the fourth installment of their DC Extended Universe. However, what we noticed, is that the studio still has the original December 13th date still part of their RSVP plans.

So, a new project could likely emerge for that holiday date in two years. Let us know in the comments if you think Warner Bros. Pictures will be gutsy enough to still challenge Disney in 2019.
