With Warner Bros. planning to reboot some of the DC Extended Universe, some interesting news has emerged this week. Since Suicide Squad’s initial release in 2016, fans have been asking for an immediate sequel. Unfortunately, since the project has some big names involved, production for the project had been shifted from last year to October 2018.
Well, reports are surfacing that Will Smith’s Deadshot character will be getting his own solo film. Will has been adamant on returning to the DCEU, as he wants to film Suicide Squad 2, as well as starring alongside the Dark Knight in the Warner’s next stand-alone Batman film. While celebrating his 50th birthday last week, Smith didn’t go into too much detail but teased talks are happening.
