Warner Bros. Reveals When ‘Suicide Squad 2’ Production Will Start

Coming to theaters early 2020?

Last week, Warner Bros. took part at the Brazil Comic Con Experience to share some major information. With Will Smith having an insane schedule until next summer, production for Suicide Squad 2 has officially been delayed to an October 2018. Along with Shazam! and Wonder Woman 2, Suicide Squad 2 will get its scheduled theatrical roll-out likely next holiday.

As DC Comics gets adjusted to life after Ben Affleck as The Batman and Time Warner Inc. switching things up in their film division, it’s not scheduled to hit theaters until at least 2020.

In related news, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is also rumored to make his DCU debut as Black Adam in the film; but DC Films is waiting to make a formal announcement.

Look for details to emerge on Suicide Squad 2, during the roll-out of Aquaman December 21, 2018.
