Eminem has gone from starring in a film about his life and how battle rap helped catapult him to super stardom in 8 Mile, to producing a film about it with Bodied. He also called on long time director Joseph Khan to serve as the film’s director, while developing the script with Alex Larsen (Kid Twist, who is a Canadian battle rap veteran).
The film will dive into the battle rap scene and star the likes of Calum Worthy, Hollow Da Don, Loaded Lux, Arsonal, Dizaster, Dumbfounded, Big T, Conceited, Daylyt and more battle rappers.
You can watch the trailer and above and get a sneak peek at what will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on September 7. It should be one to watch for rap fans.
