After the success of Louie and Baskets, Louie C.K. is going three-for-three in TV series out at FX. The comedian will be producing the upcoming show Better Things, which stars Pamela Adlon, who has appeared in Louie and co-produced the show with him.
As you can see from the trailer, Pamela’s role on the semi-autobiographical show is a single mother that has three children and is trying to make it in Los Angeles. Between being an actress in the cutthroat city and raising kids, she doesn’t look like she has time for anything. Not to mention her kids are a handful as it is. The teenage girl is asking her for pot. The teenage boy is walking in on her watching grandma porn. Shit is all bad for her.
This looks like a must-watch and something we’ll be tuning into on September 8.
