Meek Mill is branching out from the music and is making his movie debut on the upcoming Charm City Kings, due out April 10. Today, the trailer for the film hit before it premieres at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival so you can get a preview of what he’s got on deck.
In the movie, Meek plays the character of Blax, who is the leader of a dirt bike gang (Midnight Clique) in Baltimore. During his time as boss of the streets, a young’n named Mouse has to decide whether he wants the money and violence or be on the straight and narrow path.
Charm City Kings is executive produced by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith (co-written by Moonlight’s Barry Jenkins) and stars Will Catlett, Teyonah Parris, Donielle Tremaine Hansley, and Kezii Curtis.
