Zac Efron Enters EDM
With the rise of EDM in the Internet age, it seems like every other person wants to be a DJ nowadays. Director Max Joseph’s new film We Are Your Friends is about exactly that.
The first trailer, lead by the Justice vs. Simian track of the same name, has been released this week. It’s the story of a young DJ named Cole and the struggles that come with making it as a big-time name in the industry. As he searches for fame in Hollywood, situations get tricky between a love interest and his mentor.
The film stars Zac Efron, Wes Bentley and Emily Ratajkowski, along with DJs Nicky Romero and Alesso, and hits theaters August 28th.
