Sony Pictures has announced that Will Smith and Martin Lawrence‘s long-awaited Bad Boys for Life will be released on January 17th, 2020.
The movie will be the third in the Bad Boys franchise following 1995’s Bad Boys and 2003’s Bad Boys II, and will once again follow Detective Lieutenants Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett in the Miami Police Department.
Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are expected to direct the buddy cop film, with Jerry Bruckheimer returning as producer. Expectations are high, with the original grossing $144 million and the sequel grossing $273 million.
