Before presenting an award, Chris Rock joked that he was looking forward to seeing her in G.I. Jane 2. Jada revealed that she was battling with alopecia, which causes hair loss. Will responded to the joke by jumping on stage and hitting Rock in the face. He later apologized while accepting best actor for his role in King Richard.
