You know those boxes you X out when you start watching a video and turn off in settings right after? They’re going the fuck away starting in January 2019.
YouTube has finally to put the feature six-feet deep saying, “all existing annotations will be removed” starting on January 15, after discontinuing the editor back in March of this year. Once they introduced cards and end screens, annotations decreased about 70% and the feature will cease to exist once and for all.
Nobody will be complaining, miss them or argue for them to stay.
