If you’re into battle raps and the culture, you may want to look away or not press play at this trailer altogether. For all other casual fans, this may be a watch.
Produced by Eminem, Bodied explores the story of a Berkeley graduate who wins his first competition in a battle, but ends up alienating his family and friends in the process. The project is directed by Joseph Kahn and is backed by YouTube, plus has been getting some good reviews among critics.
There aren’t any huge names attached to the film, but we did spot Charlamagne Tha God.
You may be able to catch Bodied at select theaters when it comes out November 2 and if you’re subscribed to YouTube Premium, you can watch starting November 28.
