From the streets to the big screen, the URLTV movement has finally made its way onto the nation TV stage with help from Bow Wow to launch a new series for BET’s 106 & Park entitled Ultimate Freestyle Friday. For the next 7 weeks, we’ll see an elimination tournament between some of the URL’s most respected emcees.
The pilot edition which just aired today on BET featured Ill Will of Pontiac, Michigan stepping into the ring against Danja Zone of PG County, Maryland.
This isn’t the normal freestyle Friday you’d expect, as Smack White has been granted some creative freedom with Bow Wow to stay true to the art form loyalist have enjoyed all of these years. After the jump, you can get the first dosage of some weekly grown man bars for the time being now on the big screen at BET from the URLTV family.
