21 Savage sat down with ABC News for his first interview since being arrested and released by ICE on bond.
“I was just driving and I just seen guns and blue lights, and then I was in the back of a car and I was gone,” 21 said about the moment he was arrested. “They didn’t say nothing, they just said, ‘We got Savage.’ It was definitely targeted.”
In the sit-down, the Atlanta rapper also spoke on coming to the US when he was 7 years old, being targeted because he was critical of the immigration system, treatment at the detention center and bringing awareness to those who are still detained.
