This weekend, 21 Savage gets to celebrate the holidays with his new album, I Am > I Was. It becomes 21’s first ever no. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts, selling 131,000 equivalent album units. Of that sum, 18,000 were in traditional album sales, as Nielsen Music revealed the bulk of activity was through streaming. The effort also marked his fourth overall entry on the charts: Without Warning peaked at no. 4, Issa debuted at no 2 and Savage Mode peaked at 23 – all from last year.
