A Nas Feature
Considering the fact that Nas signed Fash to his Mass Appeal imprint, there’s no way that he wouldn’t jump on the little homie’s sophomore album. Fash actually spoke of their relationship and said the two talk about pretty deep stuff when they speak. Subjects like fatherhood, religion, their favorite songs are a few things they talked about and it was actually his Ode To Illmatic project that put him on Esco’s radar.
For their collaboration, DJ Khalil and a live band provide the backdrop to “Something You Believe,” which also features Aloe Blacc. No samples, lots of horns, live instrumentation, and lyricism from both Fash and Nas.
This should be a crowd favorite.
