50 Cent has been promoting his Animal Ambition album more than ever in recent months, which has finally debuted at number four after selling 47,000 copies. The G-Unit general had been releasing songs and videos weekly up until the release date last Tuesday, along with tactics such as reuniting with his crew through performing at Summer Jam and making a return to the studio as a full collective. This is 50’s first move away from the Interscope imprint, following his previous Before I Self Destruct LP selling 160,000 copies in its first week back in 2009.
