6ix9ine Reportedly Gets Charges Dropped in Tr3yway Case After Deal with U.S. Government

“I’m still gon be the king?”

Yesterday, TMZ reported that 6ix9ine had cooperated with FEDS against a friend, for the 2018 Chief Keef shooting in Times Square. While many were wondering the status of his racketeering case, the NY Post has revealed that Tekashi has cut a deal with the U.S. government. Thursday morning, new charges were filed in the Tr3yway case, and they didn’t include 6ix9ine.

Three new defendants were added to the now 10-person indictment, including former friend, Kooda B. Along with him, Kifano Jordan, aka Shotti, was also charged in the alleged shooting last June.

Paul Krieger, a former prosecutor in the US attorney’s office said, “It could be that he may have pled guilty to a cooperation agreement. It’s not unusual to do a cooperation agreement under seal to protect ongoing investigations, to protect witnesses or cooperating defendants. In my experience if you haven’t pled guilty publicly and you’re taken off the indictment, you’re cooperating.”

It’s unclear if this will lead to his immediate release from jail next week; but we’ll be monitoring what happens next in the case. Let us know in the comments what you think.
