6ix9ine Gets Major Case Dismissed Before Release in 2 Weeks

EXCLUSIVE: 6ix9ine’s Original Music Plans with Drake

Just a few days into his infamous 2018 run, 6ix9ine found himself in initial legal problems, for allegedly chocking a fan at Houston’s Galleria mall. The teen alleged on social media that Tekashi grabbed him by his hoodie and chocked him, when the rapper told him to stop filming.

However, since the incident, the two resolved the situation privately, including taking a picture on social media late last year. Well, this week, the case was officially dismissed by a Harris County DA, citing Tekashi was a security risk.

Due to the fact that 6ix9ine is unofficially in witness protection for 24-hour monitoring; the DA felt concerned with having him travel from New York City to Houston. As 6ix9ine awaits his sentencing on federal racketeering and firearms charges, he’s set to be released from custody on December 18th.
