6ix9ine Mysteriously Hires JAY-Z & Robert Kraft’s Lawyer, Expected to Take Witness Stand

Who’s paying for this?

Last January, 6ix9ine pled guilty to peddling heroin and attempted murder for hire. While reportedly working with the federal government to reduce his sentence, the Brooklyn rapper found himself still behind bars. As he waits for his early 2020 release, Tekashi has hired Alex Spiro as his new layer.

In the past, Mr. Spiro has worked for JAY-Z and Robert Kraft – as well as getting both Meek Mill and 21 Savage released from custody. We find the hiring unusual, since 6ix9ine hasn’t been able to generate revenue in over 8 months, including paying for a previous legal team to help him avoid a lengthy stay in prison.

With Dawn Florio still on Tekashi’s legal team, Spiro is joining the collection of lawyers to possibly get him released after an upcoming trial in September. Anthony Ellison, alleged Nine-Trey member, was charged with kidnapping and assaulting 6ix9ine last summer.

During the incident, he allegedly robbed Tekashi of $750,000 worth of jewelry and $20,000 in cash. At the moment Ellison is declining to cop a plea and will take his case to trial in a few weeks, where 6ix9ine will be forced to take the witness stand.

Look for more details on this situation to emerge by fall.
