6ix9ine’s Sentencing Results Revealed, Shooting Happens Soon After

Friday morning, 6ix9ine arrived to a court sentencing, where he prepared to face time behind bars. The Brooklyn rapper was originally looking at 3 years in prison for multiple probation violations, which was recommended by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.

In a final statement to the NYC Judge Felicia Mennin, he said, “I am Daniel Hernandez, to the court I am Tekashi 6ix9ine. It’s become to the point that the bad things are being looked at and the good things are being overlooked. I want to use my platform to help kids like me who grew up in poverty.”

After discussing his recent slew of good deeds for fans and people around the world, he closed out saying, “This stuff will never be as big because this stuff doesn’t make headlines.”

Surprisingly, Judge Mennin sympathized with Tekashi and gave him a four-year probation sentencing (with 1-year credit). Under the ruling, he’s forbidden to say Tr3yway and mention any gang in his music – as well as not being seen with gang members. Soon after, the Bedford-Stuyvesant native held a big dinner in the Upper East Side of town with his immediate family.

However, after he left the restaurant, drama ensued, as one of his body guards was shot. Apparently, a group of men came to the building wanting to get inside and confront the rapper, but were denied entrance. They reportedly returned and opened fire on the body guard.

Considering 6ix9ine has switched from the Bloods after the infamous robbery-kidnapping over the summer; hopefully nothing else happens the new bodyguards from Floyd Mayweather.
