This weekend, A Boogie wit da Hoodie is celebrating the release of his debut album, The Bigger Artist. With the project gaining praise from listeners, the Bronx rapper sat down with Montreality to open up on some of the realest rhymes he’s wrote thus far and his message to the youth.
However, beforehand, he touched on being courted by both Diddy and DJ Khaled who wanted to sign him, but wasn’t being targeted by JAY-Z and Roc Nation. One of Boogie’s goals was to sign with his music idol, but realized that he could follow his own footsteps to become bigger than the music icon (see: HOV’s message on 4:44).
