Since his 2014 These Days album, Ab-Soul used most of last year to promote the project through touring. However, with the TDE brand constantly moving forward with music release, Soulo aired out differences with his label boss and friend, Top Dawg.
As the two worked out plans to ensure the project’s rollout, both parties soon revealed an official release date – along with two concrete singles to leave fans at ease.
Here, listeners of the Black Lip Pastor finally get the long-awaited Do What Though Wilt album, which has appearances from ScHoolboy Q, Mac Miller, SZA, Bas and others. Take a listen to the project below, as we’re assuming this is the final release from the west coast imprint this year.
