We were around the corner from Alicia Keys‘ new album ALICIA, which was supposed to drop on March 20. Without an announcement, fans have uncovered that the project has been pushed back two months to May.
If you peruse the album on streaming services like Apple Music and Amazon, they are now listing the release as May 15 for the 15-track opus.
With singles like “Show Me Love,” “Time Machine” and “Underdog” out, it feels like Mrs. Keys is going back to the drawing board to find a single that connects with fans a little more than the last three. Either that, or to spark more buzz around the album and add a few more records.
Either way, don’t expect the album to drop next week like it was supposed to.
