Considering she’s always one to speak up injustices and saluting those who need it, Alicia Keys is honoring those who have lost their lives in her new single. “Perfect Way To Die” is a tribute to the innocent black lives that have been taken at the hands of police brutality. The ballad was written from the point of view of black mothers who have seen children die because cops and racism. It’s a powerful record that’s much needed in these times.
