Last fall, Anderson .Paak released his Oxnard album, which was met with mixed reviews. In the midst of that recording process, he was crafting content another project, which was also executive produced by Dr. Dre. The 11-track effort, titled Ventura, sees the southern California musician treating long-time fans to funk sounds. The project has guest appearances from the likes of André 3000, Smokey Robinson, Nate Dogg, Brandy, Jazmine Sullivan, Sonyae Elise and Lalah Hathaway.
