3 Stacks Sits Down To Discuss ‘i feel ya’
This year’s annual Art Basel event in Miami is showcasing all 47 jumpsuits that Andre 3000 wore on the OutKast reunion tour. The Atlanta artist recently sat down with SCAD president and founder Paula Wallace to discuss his i feel ya campaign, and the idea behind the design.
Appearance has always been a major part of his image, so he decided to print phrases on each black and white outfit to say something new and balance the performance of old music. He wanted to make something comfortable and would look slick from front row to the very back, with the original inspiration derived from a race driver suit.
Three Stacks also spoke on not using social media due to the amount he puts into songs and being in the public eye already, and the fact he might end up saying something he wants to take back.
