Dreamville singer Ari Lennox is back with new music in the form of “If You Want Me to Stay.” The song is a cover of Sly & The Family Stone’s classic 1973 song of the same name, and sees her collaborating with Hamilton star Anthony Ramos.
“It’s always tricky when you’re recreating a song that is so well-known, but I tried to stay as authentic as possible to my own sound and voice, while also honoring Sly and respecting the original art,” Ari told Atwood Magazine.
