A new supergroup has been formed and it’s a big one, consisting of eight members. Meet aroomfullofmirrors, made up of battle rapper Daylyt, North Carolina’s own Nick Grant, TDE affiliate Ichiban Don, Lyric Michelle, Earlee Riser, Jrias Law, producer Hari and TDE’s own Punch. The group entered the scene with the debut single “Mirrors,” but they have also released a new single to get familiar with them. “RAWAR” is the spelled the same back-to-front and is a metaphor for how the group conducts themselves among each other.
Punch told Genius, “The title is a play on a mirror because it reads ‘RAWAR’ in both directions.”
That’s essentially how the group operates. They’re able to operate and bounce off each other, and each brings something dope to the table. As you can hear from the new record, they’re all trading bars and weaving in and out of them.
