A$AP MOB WORLD TOUR in 2017?
On the eve of Thanksgiving last week in NYC, A$AP Ferg was nearing the finish line for his fall Turnt & Burnt Tour. Before taking stage, the uptown rapper spoke with Village Voice about plans for his upcoming third studio album, Still Striving. Even with his sophomore Always Strive and Prosper LP only a few months removed from its release, Ferg has been busy writing rhymes and getting with some producers to ensure he puts out something his fans will enjoy.
He went to say, “Still Striving is my next project that I’m releasing. That’s almost done. I’ll have a date real soon. Always Strive and Prosper was an open diary to my life. It was a lot of me talking and explaining myself to the world. With Still Striving, expect a lot of turned up shit. This is going back to the note I started on; the turned up tempos, dance music, club records.”
While he and his members of the MOB are fresh from dropping the Yams-tribute project, Cozy Tapes Vol. 1, he hinted at the group planning to tour around the commercial mixtape – but says it’ll be hard to sync over 10 rapper’s careers along with A$AP Rocky gearing up for a project as well.
