August Alsina is back like he never left. Just days after debuting the music video for his lead single and album title-track “Drugs,” the New Orleans crooner returns to share the next single from his forthcoming effort. “Wait” hears Alsina singing to a girl that has his heart. August pleads with her that she’s all he has and lets her know that he’ll always be there for her no matter their troubled past. Though she’s moved on from him, he croons that he hopes that she waits to settle down before getting himself right.
August Alsina will release his new album Drugs later this year.
