One of the highlights from the upcoming DOPE film was the fact that not only would Pharrell be curating the soundtrack, but he would be providing new music as well. Four songs to be exact. While we thought that they would be original tracks sung by him under an alias, it turns out he wrote them for the band in the movie: Awreeoh.
“Don’t Get Deleted” is one of the original records you will find, performed by the kids in the movie and it really has that N.E.R.D. vibe to it. In the video, all the kids in the neighborhood have their phones hacked and are instructed to head to the park to watch the band rock out. Of course, the youngn’s cause riots.
