Aside from releasing her Slay-Z mixtape, chances are you haven’t heard a whole lot from Azealia Banks this year with her Twitter account getting suspended. However, with Banks playing the lead role in the upcoming RZA-directed film Coco, she’s built a healthy relationship with the Wu-Tang boss.
Azealia took to Facebook this week to say that she’s signing a deal with RZA. “I’m FINALLY getting a record deal :) I’m signing with RZA,” she said. “He and I have an excellent work chemistry. Filming coco with him was loads of fun!! Now I get to make music with him!!!”
