Big K.R.I.T.’s “Cadillactica” Album To Be Released in November

Cadillactica drops November 11, to be exact

For fans waiting on Big K.R.I.T.‘s new album, the wait is almost over. Today the Mississippi native announced the release date for the album and explained a little bit about his process behind the record. The success of his sophomore album means something different to him, because he’s seen the growth of Live From The Underground since the first week he put that out and he’s happy people were receptive to it.

The concept for the album is sort of out there (it’s about a Cadillac crashing on earth), but the good news is that he’s working with producers like Terrace Martin, DJ Dahi, Jim Jonsin so it’ll be a different than the last go around. Creatively, he stepped out of his comfort zone and explored new ideas from the producers he worked with and was a rapper for once. He didn’t want to reveal details about the features, but did say Big Sant was going to make an appearance.

Stay tuned for more material from the album to drop between now and November.
