Big Sean Interview with Tim Westwood

Before Big Sean celebrated his first No. 1 album on Billboard earlier this week, he was in London with Kanye West and performing at the surprise at Koko’s in Camden. While backstage of the event, one of London’s go to guys to kick it with, Tim Westwood grabbed up the Detroit player for a quick sit-down to discuss the recording process of his new album Dark Sky Paradise.

During the discussion, Sean Don spoke on not having to deal with the label and A&R’s all in his ear, having the likes of Key Wane, Ariana Grande, Jhene Aiko, Amir, Rob Got Beats, DJ Mustard, Kanye West all coming to his in-house studio to work with him, the success of “IDFWU,” and much more.

Big Sean also explained how Kanye West jumped on “Blessings” after the album was turned in, “One Man Can Change The World” being his personal favorite, what the album meant to him, being happy with where he’s at right now in his career and life and more.

Below, you can watch Big Sean and Kanye West perform “Blessings” and “Mercy” live at KOKO’s in London.
