That Double or Nothing album is in heavy rotation right now and while folks argue about their favorite track, Big Sean and Metro Boomin are relieved they got the project out for fans. During an interview that didn’t happen, Sean and Metro decided to interview each other about the album and it feels like it turned out better than they thought.
Sean Don and Boomin had an 11-minute conversation about the album, as they talked about their favorite songs on the project and why they linked up with each other in the first place.
They also dug deeper into it, respecting each other in terms of feeling underrated in the game. They both talked about why they feel this is some of the best material they’ve done and what they learned from one another during their time making this album. Sean really appreciated the fact that Metro made most of the beats on there on the spot. Plus, he used more samples than usual because of Sean himself — it was that vibe.
