Not only is he creative musically, but he’s also trying to do that visual. BJ the Chicago Kid strays away from the regular music videos to release a short film to his latest EP, The Opening Ceremony. The 6-minute video follows BJ through Los Angeles, with his 3-track effort serving as the soundtrack to every scene involving police brutality, poverty and relationships. Shortened versions of “Going Once Going Twice,” “Rather Be With You” and “Nothing Into Something” play across the film across three chapters, with a very powerful message.
