A lot has changed for Justin Vernon since the release of his last self-titled Bon Iver album back in 2011. He’s collaborated with the likes of Travi$ Scott, James Blake, Francis and the Lights and not for the first time, Kanye West, as well as release an album with Volcano Choir.
This Friday, Bon Iver are set to debut their first album five years, live at Eaux Claires festival in Vernon’s hometown of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Bon Iver recently released a teaser video, shared cryptic images on Instagram and put up a mural in Brooklyn.
Let’s hope the album gets an official release this Friday, too.
