The Louisville R&B singer stops by Red Light Special

With the success of his debut mixtape T R A P S O U L maintaining its spot on the iTunes and Billboard charts, Bryson Tiller was the next guest on Red Light Special with the great Rob Markman. Throughout the sit-down, the Louisville R&B singer-rapper opened up on his recording process for one of the biggest projects this year and having doubts on public perception of his sounds.

Soon after the original release of Don’t,” musicians Drake and 40 reached out through text and wanted to sign him to OVO Sound. Tiller immediately stared at the rare opportunity and it was a tough decision on not signing to the biggest urban-pop label in the world.

While he was having doubts in his career and almost gave in to signing to the Toronto-based imprint during his biggest depressed point in life, he re-focused on his brand and received help from Drizzy and 40 to land a major deal on his own. Listen to the conversation above with the hip-hop Wikipedia, where Bryson discusses his love for video games and much more.
