Bryson Tiller’s ‘T R A P S O U L’ Album Is Now Platinum

Just last week, Bryson Tiller revealed that his debut TRAPSOUL album had been certified gold with 500,000 albums sold, along with one million singles (“Don’t”) and over 700 million streams worldwide. Not bad for a first album.

However, Bryson Tiller has just taken to his Instagram account again to share some even bigger news. TRAPSOUL is now actually certified platinum with a million copies sold.

Bryson explains that the album was certified gold around a month ago but he waited until his Radio City Music Hall shows to announce the news. Shortly after, they surprised him with the platinum plaque. Read his full message to fans below.

so a few days ago, we told everyone that this album went Gold. They actually told me it went Gold a month or so ago but wanted me to wait until my Radio City Show to tell people. Well…. Right after the show they surprised me and told me that T R A P S O U L is officially a Platinum Album. words cannot explain how i feel. thank you if you bought this, you changed my life.
