Cam O’bi has worked with the likes of Vic Mensa, Chance The Rapper and SZA as a producer, but now he’s ready to release an album of his own.
Today, the Los Angeles producer and rapper is sharing “TenderHeaded,” the first single from his debut album, Grown Ass Kid. “Remember when I was a kiddo, growin’ up in the middle,” he raps. “Windows lining my smile, silver teeth underneath my pillow.” The track also features a verse from Smino, who also helped write the hook.
As for the beat, Cam samples audio of his baby nephew laughing, along with sped-up background vocals he sang himself.
