From rapper to mother to host. Cardi B is taking the stage at the 2021 American Music Awards live from the Microsoft Theater in L.A. this month to host the big award show. It all goes down November 21 at 8pm EST on ABC.
Cardi has won five AMA’s to date and performed twice.
She’s also won Favorite Hip Hop Song twice at the awards, making her the first female rapper to ever do it. So hosting the stage is a big thing.
She follows the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, LL Cool J, Diana Ross, Lionel Richie and Taraji P. Henson as those who have hosted the show in the past.
