Chance The Rapper’s ‘Acid Rap’ Re-Release Hits No. 5, First Week Sales Revealed

Chance The Rapper‘s Acid Rap mixtape has hit number five on the Billboard chart following its release to streaming platforms.

The project, which was originally released in 2013, moved 40,000 units in total, with 18,000 of those traditional album sales (boosted by bundles on his website). Its 20,000 streaming equivalent album units translate to 26.2 million on-demand audio streams.

Not only that, but Coloring Book has re-entered at number 46 with 13,000 units, along with his 2012 mixtape 10 Day also entering at number 72 with 10,000 units.

Acid Rap is now Chance’s highest charting project to date, following Coloring Book at number eight back in 2016.
