A few weeks ago, Chance The Rapper premiered this song live in concert, which was assumed to be a cover of Kanye West’s “Family Business.” It turns out that it will now serve as the theme song to the upcoming Family Matters Tour, which is set to hit a city near you soon. The full “Family Matters” song can be heard in the new video, which has footage of Chano as a kid intertwined with clips of him preparing for the tour.
Considering it’s a Chicago thing too, Chance is doing a play on the old TV show Family Matters too, right? One can only assume. Shout out to Eddie Winslow too, who we caught in Sunday’s episode of The Leftovers on HBO. Mad random, though.
