Chance The Rapper is currently working on a musical feature film called Hope, alongside his manager Pat Corcoran and Straight Outta Compton producer Scott Bernstein.
The movie is set to follow a group of Chicago teenagers who come together to turn art into action within their community. Carlito Rodriguez (EMPIRE) is writing the screenplay, while Nico Segal (fka Donnie Trumpet) is handling the the original music.
Hope is being distributed by Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures (MGM).
