3005 gets an extended life-cycle with new remix below
Nearly a year since the release of his sophomore album Because The Internet, Childish Gambino still has fans buzzing about the project that featured his hit-single and self-produced cut, “3005.”
Over the weekend, listeners were treated to new projects STN MTN, serving as his first ever Gangsta Grillz collaborative project, as well as his second EP, Kauai. One of the mysterious tracks on the EP was his “V. 3005 (Beach Picnic Version)” instrumental, serving as its last track.
Sunday, fans soon discovered a hidden acapella verse on Gambino’s website page 43, which led to many trying to decode what exactly the secret track contained. After hours had passed by, Gambino awarded one user as the winner of the scavenger hunt, which we now have the “3005 (Remix)” above.
